After two devastating neck breaks that left Chair The Hope co-founder Nathan Ogden quadriplegic, he knows first-hand how it feels to be limited in both body and mind. Today, Nathan and his family live full lives and want everyone to have the mobility and independence Nathan experiences.

MISSION

Chair The Hope aids those with disabilities throughout the world by providing independence and mobility. We create powerful humanitarian trips delivering wheelchairs and medical devices to those desperately waiting. We distribute life changing HOPE to families, local communities, and countries globally.

Accomplishments in five short years:

42,560 lives impacted

CTH creates 5 to 6 humanitarian trips a year for individuals and families to travel globally, personally delivering wheelchairs and participating in other service projects, while also experiencing the culture of a new country and enjoying a vacation. They have the rare opportunity to literally pick someone up and put them in their first wheelchair and see the excitement in their face as they get to push around on their own. So many individuals don’t ever leave their home unless someone carries them. Each wheelchair costs only $200, and that includes being delivered to another country.

Some of the countries visited are Guatemala, Argentina, Ghana, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Peru.

CTH has also done 13 local projects throughout the United states helping with specialized wheelchairs, ramps, accessible vehicles, and more.
