Inspired by a Champion!

In 2002 I launched the Jim Rohn One Year Success Plan along with collaborator Chris Widener. It included a monthly expert conference call with some of the biggest names in the industry. One of the month’s topics was Accelerated Learning and Chris recommended we use Ron White (not “Tator Salad” Ron White, but Memory in a Month Ron White). That introduction was the beginning of what would be a great business and personal relationship.

Since that initial introduction from our good friend Chris Widener, Ron and I have collaborated many, many times. He has always astonished me with his discipline, work ethic and focus. In fact, back in 2002 Ron had one product but now I would speculate he has created somewhere between 30-50 products through his focus and hard work. Never mind that he had a full time international speaking business PLUS he enlisted in the military (serving 2 years in Afghanistan) to serve our country out of a deep conviction that erupted after 9/11.

Upon his return from Afghanistan, Ron decided, in addition to getting his business back on track, that he wanted to simultaneously train for the US Memory Championships. He spent months and months of what others would call tv and entertainment time working to achieve this new goal on top of his already maxed schedule. In fact, he enlisted another mutual friend, former Navy Seal, TC Cummings to help him train and be accountable. Now that’s commitment!

Ron ended up winning the US Memory Championships back-to-back in 2009 and 2010!

Ron’s commitment, hard work and focus continually encourages and motivates me. In a nutshell, Ron makes me better!
