Happy Heavenly Birthday Jim Rohn!

Jim Rohn, my business partner, friend, and mentor for 18 years, would have been 96 today, September 17.

Anyone who knows me knows that, for the rest of my life, I will always carry the Jim Rohn torch (as I shared at his tribute in 2009) and continue sharing how his message impacted me and so many others.

It always brings me joy when people tell me how Jim impacted their lives, and it’s even a little more special when I know they were introduced to Jim through my influence or recommendation.

I’m not a poet, but I wanted to share this with you today in case it can be of benefit in some way—including taking a few minutes of reflection time to think about the people who have influenced you.

Message to Jim

At only 28, amazing fortune smiled on me. I was introduced to the man who redirected what my future would be.

I hung on every word he shared, one-on-one and in the seminar room. And I watched my life change, Jim Rohn’s philosophy in me it groomed.

Slowly but surely, my life would change, and others could see it. And not only my life, but all those who were introduced to Jim and, in the rooms, experienced it.

He was unique, like no other, his words filled with wisdom and clarity, and so well spoken. Jim was no one’s puppet as he shared his sonnets. He always said exactly what was on his mind and what he wanted.

Daily, I’m reminded of all the lessons and truths he shared with me. I’m forever blessed by the path I was led on and now can better see.

It’s been many years since Jim passed, yet I feel his presence often and get guidance when I’m wise enough to seek it.

If you were influenced by Jim, maybe sometime today, take a step back and see what he would say.
