My long-time mentor Brian Tracy takes it a step further: “You become what you think about most of the time.”
If you constantly set small, safe goals, you can expect to receive only small, safe successes.
So, how do you 10X your thinking and break into the next level? I recommend trying on some of these principles from my two biggest mentors, who changed my life.

- Set goals so big they scare you – Small goals won’t inspire you. Think bigger than you ever have before.
- Act as if it’s impossible to fail – If failure wasn’t an option, how would you approach your goals? Do that.
- Surround yourself with people who think bigger – Your success is a direct reflection of the people you associate with. Upgrade your circle.
- Work harder on yourself than anything else – Your growth determines your results. Expand your mindset, skills, and habits.
- Take massive, focused action – Don’t just dream about it. Commit, execute, and adjust as you go.
- Success is predictable – The right actions, applied consistently, lead to the right results.
